GAIA HOTELS & SUITES opened on Plot 22, Ugbor Ogunmwenyin Road with a simple intention: to give Benin City an address that felt as composed as the people who pass through it. Not a spectacle — a house. Rooms that hold quiet, staff who remember, and food worth staying in for.
The building is arranged around light and airflow, with planting at every edge to soften the heat of the afternoon. Inside, the material palette stays warm and low: timber, stone, brass and heavy cotton. Nothing shouts. Everything works.

Breakfast is served from 7am to 10.30am and is included with every room. The kitchen stays open through the evening, and the bar pours until the last guest is done talking.
